Unexploded shell recovered in Rajouri village | KNO

Rajouri, May 28 (KNO): An unexploded shell was recovered from the fields of a village in Chak Jarallan in Rajouri district on Thursday. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the old and rusted live shell was recovered on Thursday evening while the Jammu and Kashmir police has taken it into their possession. A police official said that during routine work in the field, the villagers spotted something suspicious lying in the field of Anant Ram of Chak Jarallan. “Police after being informed rushed to the spot and found a rusted explosive shell lying in the area,” he said, adding that efforts to destroy the live shell with the help of Army are going on –(KNO)
